Im Rahmen der Migration der Classic Hosting E-Mail-Konten zu Microsoft 365 kann es vorkommen, dass die Migration auf eine netorg-Domain vorgenommen werden muss oder Sie sehen in der E-Mail-Administration ein E-Mail-Konto mit dem Zusatz Archive.  Wir erläutern hier, was das zu bedeuten hat.

Informationen zur net-org Domain

Wenn Sie diese Domain bei Ihren E-Mail-Adressen in der E-Mail-Administration sehen, gab es bei der Migration der E-Mail-Konten einen Konflikt, weil die E-Mail-Adresse bereits bei Microsoft in Verwendung ist. Damit die Daten in Ihrem E-Mail-Konto bei Host Europe nicht verloren gehen, haben wir die Migration mit der Netorg-Domain vorgenommen. 

Beispiel: Wenn Ihr Host Europe Classic Hosting E-Mail-Konten auf domain.de eingerichtet wurden und diese Domain für ein Microsoft 365-Konto bei Microsoft verwendet wird, haben wir die Inhalte des E-Mail-Benutzers an einen „NETORG“ -Benutzer wie NETORG12345.onmicrosoft.com übertragen.

Sie haben nun 3. Optionen:

1. Wenn Sie das M365 E-Mail-Konto mit der korrekten Domain bei Host Europe nutzen wollen, müssen Sie die Domain bei Microsoft entfernen.
2. Wenn Sie das M365 E-Mail-Konto bei Host Europe nicht mehr nutzen wollen, löschen Sie dieses in der E-Mail-Administration. Sie können dann die M365 Lizenz mit einer anderen neuen E-Mail-Adresse verwenden. Wenn Sie die Lizenz dafür nicht weiterverwenden wollen, können Sie auch die Lizenz kündigen. Dies ist unter Produktverwaltung - Email möglich.
3. Wenn Sie nur auf das E-Mail-Konto zugreifen wollen, loggen Sie sich z.B. mit dem Webmailer über https://outlook.office.com ein.

Informationen zu E-Mail-Konten mit dem Zusatz archive

Wir legen im Rahmen der Migration ein E-Mail-Konto mit dem Zusatz archive an, wenn die E-Mail-Adresse bereits mit Professional Mail oder Microsoft 365 bei Host Europe aktiv in Verwendung ist. 

Beispiel: Wenn für email@domain.de bereits Microsoft 365 von Host Europe eingerichtet wurde, haben wir den Benutzer und seinen Inhalt von der Classic Hosting Plattform migriert, der E-Mail-Konto aber in archive.email@domain.de umbenannt.

Sie haben nun 3. Optionen:

1. Wenn Sie das Archiv-Konto weiter verwenden wollen, können Sie es in der E-Mail-Administation über den Punkt "Verwalten" umbenennen.
2. WWenn Sie das M365 E-Mail-Konto nicht mehr benötigen, löschen Sie dieses in der E-Mail-Administration. Sie können dann die M365 Lizenz mit einer anderen neuen E-Mail-Adresse verwenden. Wenn Sie die Lizenz dafür nicht weiterverwenden wollen, können Sie auch die Lizenz kündigen. Dies ist unter Produktverwaltung - Email möglich.
3. Wenn Sie nur auf das E-Mail-Konto zugreifen wollen, loggen Sie sich z.B. mit dem Webmailer über https://outlook.office.com ein.

Why do I have a NETORG or archive email address in my email administration?

As part of the migration of Classic Hosting email accounts to Microsoft 365, it may be necessary to migrate to a netorg domain, or you may see an email account with the suffix Archive in your email administration.  We explain what this means here.

Information about the net-org domain

If you see this domain in your email addresses in the email administration, there was a conflict during the migration of the email accounts because the email address is already in use at Microsoft. To ensure that the data in your email account at Host Europe is not lost, we carried out the migration with the netorg domain. 

Example: If your Host Europe Classic Hosting email accounts were set up on domain.de and this domain is used for a Microsoft 365 account with Microsoft, we transferred the email user's content to a NETORG user such as NETORG12345.onmicrosoft.com.

You now have three options:

1. If you want to use the M365 email account with the correct domain at Host Europe, you must remove the domain from Microsoft.
2. If you no longer want to use the M365 email account at Host Europe, delete it in the email administration. You can then use the M365 licence with a different new email address. If you no longer wish to use the licence, you can also cancel it. This can be done under Product Admin - Email.
3. If you only want to access the email account, log in with the webmailer at https://outlook.office.com, for example.

Information about email accounts with the suffix archive

As part of the migration, we create an email account with the suffix archive if the email address is already actively used with Professional Mail or Microsoft 365 at Host Europe. 

Example: If Microsoft 365 from Host Europe has already been set up for email@domain.de, we have migrated the user and their content from the Classic Hosting platform, but renamed the email account to archive.email@domain.de.

You now have three options:

1. If you want to continue using the archive account, you can rename it in the email administration under "Manage".
2.  f you no longer need the M365 email account, delete it in the email administration. You can then use the M365 licence with a different new email address. If you no longer wish to use the licence, you can also cancel it. This can be done under Product Admin - Email.
3. If you only want to access the email account, log in with the webmailer at https://outlook.office.com, for example.
