Ask your previous provider to release the domain

Apply for the domain release from your previous provider with our pre-prepared application form. Download the application, fill it and send it to your existing provider.

Download the Provider-Change application

Order your domain at Host Europe

Select your desired hosting product and then list the domain you want to transfer. You absolutely have to click the field "move". Of course you can add other domains to your product, simply by selecting the desired extensions in the order form. .

Activate your domain

You will receive an order confirmation and access to our customer information system (KIS). As a new customer you receive an additional activation code by mail after 1-2 business days from your order confirmation. You will use this code to activate an access to our unique KIS. .

Transfer to us with your data and email

Transfer the previously saved data to Host Europe. When all data is transferred, you can delete the information from your current provider. You can transfer your email with our email transfer-service. The first email data transfer is included free of charge in many of our web hosting products.

How do I move my .de domain?

1. Inform your current provider about domain contract termination (and optionally related web space tariffs) and get the AuthInfo from your current provider. For this you can download our prepared application form as a PDF document. Please fill out the form completely and send it to your current provider.

2. You are a new customer: Order your preferred webspace package at Host Europe online. . In the ordering process, list the domain which you want to transfer to Host Europe. Important: Highlight the "Provider change" field. Once you have your customer information system activated (KIS), there will be an email sent (usually within 30 minutes) to the specified ordering contact email address. Via the link in this email you will be directed to a Web page where you can enter the AuthCode. After entering the AuthCodes, your transfer will be completed within a few minutes.

You already have a customer number: Please order your domain transfer in the KIS if it permits an additional domain order. In the order form, in the field "AuthCode" you will need to enter the AuthInfo code you have received from the previous provider. If you don’t provide AuthInfo code at this point, there will be an email sent (usually within 30 minutes) to your specified customer data contact email address (for resellers it will be sent to the specified contact mail address of the owner / Admin-C.). Inside this email there will be a link which will redirect you to a Web page where you can enter the AuthCode. After entering your AuthCodes the transfer will be completed within few minutes.

You will receive a conformation about the successful transfer per email. Your domain can reach via us latest after 24 to 48. If you receive an error message from Domain Robot with "The AuthCode was incorrect", then please contact your current provider to obtain the current AuthInfo.

.ch, .li, .nl, .me, .eu

When the transfer was initiated, there will be (usually within few hours) a so-called FOA-mail sent to the address registered in the WhoIs email address of the domain owner / Admin-C (Note: for .ch, .li and .eu this email goes to the provided in contract owner address!). In the email there is a link over which the Auth-Code is to be provided and the transfer start has to be authorised. Only after a positive confirmation the task will be forwarded to the previous provider. Should you not receive an email, please check your spam filter. If it is not there, please contact our support by phone or email. If the registered WhoIs email address is no longer active, please update it directly at the current provider of the domain.

.com, .net, .mobi, .biz, .info, .org oder .tv

Please make sure that your domain has a status "Active”. If your domain shows status "Registrar-Lock", this means you need to cancel it with your old provider first. Please make sure that the assigned domain email address Owner / Admin-C is up-to-date and that you can access it.

Terminate the domain service (and optionally related web space tariffs) of your current provider in writing, and make your current provider release the domain. Select your desired web space product or order a domain at Host Europe. In the ordering process, list the domain that you want to transfer. If you are already a customer, please order a domain via KIS if additional domain orders are permitted.

For the domain Transfer you will need a so-called Auth-Code. This code ensures that you are the owner of the domain. To obtain this code you need to contact your current provider. When the transfer is started, there will be (usually within few hours) a so-called FOA-mail sent to the registered WhoIs email address of the domain holder / Admin-C. In the email there will be a link over which the Auth-Code is to be entered and the transfer start is to be authorised. Only after a positive confirmation will the task be forwarded to the previous provider for approval. Should you not receive an email, please check your spam filter. If it is not there, please contact our support by phone or email. If the registered WhoIs email address is not active anymore, please update it directly with the current provider of the domain. After the positive confirmation of the FOA-mail there is a period of 5 days in which the request is going to the previous provider and we are waiting for their feedback. At the end of this period you should receive feedback from our Domain Robot about the status of the transfer.

Please also note that .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and .mobi domains could be moved to another provider only after 60 days after initial registration. Moreover, after a transfer there is a blocker for the next 60 days for a new transfer.

.at, .co.at, oder .or.at

For the relocation of .at, .co.at-, or .or.at domains, you need in addition to fill out an application, which you will have to mail or fax to NIC.AT - the central registry for those domains. Please download the required form here: Aenderung.pdf (PDF)
Please note that a transfer is only possible if the form is fully completed, signed and provided to NIC.AT.

After placing your order with us, please instruct your previous provider to change so-called ISP tags of the domain at "DOTUKDOMAINS". After the successful change of the ISP tag your domain can be transferred.

.be

 

dns.be (registry for .be) sends an AuthCode on the request from the old or new domain provider to the email address of the domain owner. If you want to arrange shipping via us, please contact our support.
