Ab 20.09.2022 gibt es eine Änderung im Hinblick auf die Abrechnung von Domains, die zu uns umgezogen / transferiert werden.
Bei der Abrechnung von neu bestellten / registrierten Domains ändert sich nichts. Diese werden weiterhin im ersten Abrechnungsintervall für 12 Monate im Voraus nach dem Preismodell Ihrer Kundennummer in Rechnung gestellt.
Im Gegensatz dazu wird nun bei transferierten Domains der Zeitraum des ersten Abrechnungsintervalls und der Beginn der Folgeintervalle vom Expiry-Datum abhängen, welches uns von der Vergabestelle übermittelt wird. Hinsichtlich des Preises für das erste Abrechnungsintervall wird unterschieden, ob das übermittelte Expiry-Datum >= 12 Monate in der Zukunft liegt oder eben weniger als 12 Monate in der Zukunft liegt.
Variante 1: Expiry-Datum >= (größer/gleich) 12 Monate in der Zukunft
Das 1. Abrechnungsintervall wird mit Ihrem für diese TLD gültigen Jahrespreis Ihrer Kundennummer für den Zeitraum "Tag des Umzuges" bis "Expiry-Datum - 1 Kalendertag" in Rechnung gestellt. Am Tag des Expiry-Datum beginnt dann das Folgeintervall, welches gemäß Ihrer gültigen Vertragsdetails unter der betreffenden Kundennummer hinsichtlich Preis und Laufzeit in Rechnung gestellt wird.
Abrechnungsbeispiel:
domain1.com zieht am 02.10.2024 zu uns um. Das Expiry-Datum nach dem Umzug ist der 15.12.2025.
Vertragsbeginn ist weiterhin der Tag des erfolgreichen Umzuges: 02.10.2024
Das erste Abrechnungsintervall dauert nun bis einen Tag vor dem Expiry-Datum: 02.10.2024 bis 14.12.2025
Preis erstes Abrechnungsintervall: gültige TLD-Gebühr für 12 Monate für .com nach Preismodell der jeweiligen Kundennummer
Das zweite Abrechnungsintervall beginnt am 15.12.2025 und wird zu den für Ihre Kundennummer gültigen Vertragsdetails dieser TLD in Rechnung gestellt.
Variante 2: Expiry-Datum < (weniger) 12 Monate in der Zukunft
Das 1. Abrechnungsintervall wird mit 0 EUR für den Zeitraum "Tag des Umzuges" bis "Expiry-Datum - 1 Kalendertag" in Rechnung gestellt. Am Tag des Expiry-Datum beginnt dann das Folgeintervall, welches gemäß Ihrer gültigen Vertragsdetails unter der betreffenden Kundennummer hinsichtlich Preis und Laufzeit in Rechnung gestellt wird.

How will domains transferred to Host Europe be billed from September 2022?
From 20.09.2022 there is a change to the billing of domains that are moved / transferred to us.
Nothing will change with regard to the billing of newly ordered / registered domains. These will continue to be billed in the first billing interval for 12 months in advance according to the pricing model of your customer number.

The 1st billing interval will be billed with your annual price of your customer number valid for this TLD for the period "Day of move" to "Expiry date - 1 calendar day". On the day of the Expiry Date, the subsequent interval will then begin, which will be billed according to your valid contract details under the relevant customer number in terms of price and term.
Billing example:
domain1.com moves to us on 02.10.2024. The expiry date after the move is 15.12.2025.
Contract start date is still the day of the successful move: 02.10.2024.
The first billing interval now lasts until one day before the expiry date: 02.10.2024 to 14.12.2025
Price first billing interval: valid TLD fee for 12 months for .com according to pricing model of the respective customer number
Second billing interval starts on 12/15/2025 and will be billed at the contract details of this TLD valid for your customer number.
Variant 2: Expiry date < (less) 12 months in the future
The 1st billing interval will be billed with 0 EUR for the period "Day of move" to "Expiry date - 1 calendar day". On the day of the Expiry date, the subsequent interval will then begin, which will be billed according to your valid contract details under the relevant customer number in terms of price and term.
Billing example:
domain2.ch moves to us on 02.10.2024. The expiry date after the move is 15.11.2024.
