Bislang gab es bei Host Europe für bestimmte ausgewählte TLDs Rabattstufen. Zur Vereinheitlichung wird das Rabattstufen-Modell nun auf sämtliche TLDs, die bei Host Europe angeboten werden, ausgeweitet. Seit dem 15.01.2020 gilt für alle TLDs bei Host Europe das Rabattstufen-Model. Das hat für Sie den Vorteil, dass alle Ihre Domains für die Rabattstufen zählen und es daher leichter wird, ein höheres Rabattlevel zu erreichen.

Entscheidend für die Rabattstufe ist die Gesamtzahl aller Domains, die sich zum Zeitpunkt der Abrechnung unter der Kundennummer befinden. Dabei wird folgende Betrachtung angewendet:
- bei 1 bis 49 werden die Domains zum jeweiligen Normalpreis berechnet
- ab 50 oder mehr Domains werden diese nach dem Preis der Rabattstufe 1 berechnet
- ab 200 oder mehr Domains werden diese nach dem Preis der Rabattstufe 2 berechnet
Auf Ihrer Rechnung sehen Sie zukünftig hinter einer Abrechnungsposition ein Sternchen, wenn eine der Rabattstufen zur Berechnung angewendet wird. Domains, welche nach Standardpreis abgerechnet werden, erhalten keine gesonderte Markierung. Damit ist nachvollziehbar, für welche Domains eine Rabattstufe angewendet wurde.

Zum besseren Verständnis möchten wir Ihnen an Hand von zwei Beispielen das Rabattstufen-Modell bzw. die daraus resultierende Berechnung von Domains erläutern:
Herr Müller verwaltet unter seiner Host Europe Kundennummer 20 .de Domains, 20 .at Domains, und 9 .com Domains. Insgemsamt hat Herr Müller also 49 Domains in seinem Kundenaccount. Dementsprechend werden diese Domains bislang zum Standardpreis abgerechnet. Herr Müller registriert nun eine weitere .com Domain. Mit einer Gesamtzahl von 50 Domains fällt Herr Müller somit jetzt in die erste Rabattstufe, wodurch die neu bestellte .com Domain mit einem Preis von 1,39 EUR/Monat anstatt 1,79 EUR/Monat in der jährlichen Abrechnung berechnet wird. Außerdem profitiert Herr Müller auch für seine bereits registrierten 49 Domains jeweils zum neuen Abrechnungszeitraum von dem nun gültigen Preis in Rabattstufe 1. Herr Müller erhält den neuen Preis gemäß Rabattstufe 1 so lange, bis er durch die Kündigung einer Domain wieder unter die Grenze von 50 fällt. Falls Herr Müller weitere 150 Domains registriert und mindestens 200 Domain im Bestand hat, sinkt der monatliche Preis für den kompletten Bestand an Domains nochmals auf den jeweiligen Preis in Rabattstufe 2.
Frau Stahl verwaltet unter ihrer Kundennummer 150 .de Domains, 25 .eu Domains und 25 .net Domains. Die Gesamtzahl der Domains in ihrer Kundennummer beträgt also 200. Am 10. Juni kündigt Frau Stahl eine ihrer 200 Domains, weil das betreffende Webprojekt sich dem Ende neigt. Die betroffene Domain wird zum 15. August zum Ende des Abrechnungszeitraum effektiv abgekündigt. Dadurch unterschreitet Frau Stahl ab dem 15. August die Grenze von 200 Domains. Alle Domains, deren neuer Abrechnungszeitraum zwischen dem 10. Juni und dem 14. August beginnt, werden noch zum Preis gemäß Rabattstufe 2 in der jährlichen Abrechnung abgerechnet. Alle Domains aus ihrem Bestand, die ab dem 15. August verlängert werden, werden zum Preis gemäß Rabattstufe 1 in der jährlichen Abrechnung abgerechnet. Frau Stahl erhält den neuen Preis aus Rabattstufe 1 so lange, bis sie nicht durch die effektive Kündigung weiterer 150 Domains unter die Grenze von 50 Domains fällt. Falls Frau Stahl eine neue Domain registriert und wieder mindestens 200 Domains im Bestand hat, sinkt der monatliche Preis für den kompletten Bestand an Domains wie gehabt auf den Preis aus Rabattstufe 2 in der jährlichen Abrechnung.

Until now, Host Europe offered discount tiers for certain selected TLDs. For the sake of standardization, the discount tier model has now been extended to all TLDs offered by Host Europe. Since 15 January 2020, the discount tier model applies to all TLDs at Host Europe. This gives you the advantage that all of your domains count toward the discount tiers, making it easier to reach a higher discount level.

The determining factor for the discount tier is the total number of all domains under the customer number at the time of billing. The following rules apply:
- for 1 to 49 domains, the normal price for the respective domain is charged
- from 50 domains or more, they are charged according to the price of discount tier 1
- from 200 domains or more, they are charged according to the price of discount tier 2
In the future, you will see an asterisk next to a billing item on your invoice if one of the discount tiers was applied in the calculation. Domains billed at the standard price will not receive any special marking. This makes it possible to see for which domains a discount tier was applied.

To make the discount tier model and the resulting domain billing easier to understand, we would like to explain it using two examples:
Mr. Müller manages 20 .de domains, 20 .at domains, and 9 .com domains under his Host Europe customer number. In total, Mr. Müller therefore has 49 domains in his customer account. Accordingly, these domains have so far been billed at the standard price. Mr. Müller now registers one additional .com domain. With a total of 50 domains, Mr. Müller now moves into the first discount tier, which means that the newly ordered .com domain is billed in the annual invoicing at a price of EUR 1.39/month instead of EUR 1.79/month. In addition, Mr. Müller also benefits from the now applicable price in discount tier 1 for his 49 domains already registered, starting with each new billing period. Mr. Müller receives the new price according to discount tier 1 until he falls below the threshold of 50 again due to the cancellation of a domain. If Mr. Müller registers another 150 domains and has at least 200 domains in stock, the monthly price for the entire domain portfolio drops again to the respective price in discount tier 2.
Ms. Stahl manages 150 .de domains, 25 .eu domains, and 25 .net domains under her customer number. The total number of domains under her customer number is therefore 200. On 10 June, Ms. Stahl cancels one of her 200 domains because the related web project is coming to an end. The affected domain is effectively terminated on 15 August at the end of the billing period. As a result, Ms. Stahl falls below the 200-domain threshold from 15 August onward. All domains whose new billing period begins between 10 June and 14 August are still billed at the price according to discount tier 2 in the annual invoicing. All domains in her portfolio that are renewed from 15 August onward are billed at the price according to discount tier 1 in the annual invoicing. Ms. Stahl receives the new price from discount tier 1 until she falls below the threshold of 50 domains due to the effective cancellation of another 150 domains. If Ms. Stahl registers a new domain and once again has at least 200 domains in stock, the monthly price for the entire domain portfolio drops again, as before, to the price from discount tier 2 in the annual invoicing.
