1. Warum wird PHP 8.0 deaktiviert und was passiert am 27.11.2023?
Da PHP den Sicherheitssupport für PHP 8.0 zum November 2023 einstellt, werden wir die Version 8.0 zum 27.11.2023 deaktivieren. Als Alternative steht Ihnen PHP 8.1 und PHP 8.2 (neu seit dem 25.07.2023) zur Verfügung.
Ende Oktober 2023 wurde eine Vorabumstellung der PHP Version 8.0 auf die neue Version PHP 8.2 vorgenommen. Wir haben zum 30.10.2023 alle Domains/vHosts auf PHP 8.2 umgestellt, die an diesem Tag die PHP Version 8.0 verwendet haben.
Kunden, die nach dem 30.10.2023 Ihre Domain wieder auf PHP 8.0 umgestellt haben, werden am 27.11.2023 auf PHP 8.2 umgestellt, weil PHP 8.0 dann unwiderruflich auf der Plattform deaktiviert wird.

3. Welche Webanwendungen sind mit PHP 8.1 bzw. PHP 8.2 kompatibel?

4. Was passiert, wenn ich nichts unternehme?
Sollten Sie nichts unternehmen, könnte es im schlimmsten Fall dazu kommen, dass Ihre Webseite ab dem 27.11.2023 (Deaktivierung von PHP 8.0) nicht mehr erreichbar ist. Wir raten Ihnen daher, die Überprüfung Ihrer Webanwendungen und eventuell notwendige Aktualisierungen vor diesem Termin durchzuführen.
5. Ich brauche mehr Zeit für die Skriptanpassungen und möchte nicht am 27.11.2023 umgestellt werden. Ist das möglich?
Die Deaktivierung von PHP 8.0 am 27.11.2023 ist unwiderruflich. Es gibt keine Option PHP 8.0 weiter auf Ihrem Classic Hosting Tarif zu nutzen. Wenn Ihre Anwendung PHP 8.0 zwingend benötigt, erwägen Sie ggf. einen Migration der Anwendung auf cPanel Hosting oder auf einen selbst administrierten Virtual Server.
6. Meine Webseite/mein Skript funktioniert nach der Umstellung am 27.11.2023 nicht mehr. Was kann ich tun?
Sie können dann probieren, ob Ihre Anwendung mit PHP 8.1 lauffähig ist. Stellen Sie dazu bitte im KIS die Option entsprechend auf PHP 8.1 ein.

Hinweis: Bitte ersetzen Sie *Ihr Produktbereich* durch das jeweilige bei uns genutzte Produkt, wie z.B WebHosting oder WebServer.
Wenn die Webseite weiterhin nicht funktioniert, liegt eine Inkompatiblität mit PHP 8.1 und PHP 8.2 vor. Wenden Sie sich hier an den Entwickler der Webseite oder an Ihren Administrator.

1. Why will PHP 8.0 be disabled?

4. What happens if I do nothing?
In the worst case, if you do nothing, your website may become unavailable after PHP 8.0 has been switched off. We therefore advise you to check and update your web applications as soon as possible.
5. I need more time for script adjustments and do not want to be switched on 10/30/2023. Is this possible?
The deactivation of PHP 8.0 on 11/27/2023 is irrevocable. There is no option to continue using PHP 8.0 on your Classic Hosting plan. If your application absolutely requires PHP 8.0, please consider migrating the application to cPanel Hosting or to a self-administered virtual server.
6. My website/script will no longer work after the changeover on 10/30/2023. What can I do?
You can then test whether your application can run with PHP 8.1. To do this, please set the option to PHP 8.1 in the KIS.

If the website still does not work, there is an incompatibility with PHP 8.1 and PHP 8.2. Please contact the developer of the website or your administrator.
