Host Europe Suisse AG collects, processes and uses personal data of a user without any further consent only to the extent that they are necessary for the establishing and executing the contract and for accounting purposes.
Personal data are individual data items regarding the personal or material circumstances of a certain or ascertainable natural person (Person Concerned).
Collection of data means in this regard the procurement of data by the Person Concerned himself. Processing means, in addition to storage and deletion, also the modification, blocking and the transmission of personal data. Use of data means every use of personal data that is not a processing measure. Host Europe Suisse AG is entitled to issue information to criminal investigating authorities and courts for the purpose of criminal prosecution.
Inventory data are personal data, that are necessary for establishing or amending the contractual relationship between Host Europe Suisse AG and the user. These include, inter alia, the user’s name and the address, data of birth, telephone numbers and e-mail address. Host Europe Suisse AG shall release inventory data to a third party only if this is necessary for providing telecommunications services.
Host Europe Suisse AG shall process and use the inventory data for the purpose of advertising, customers advice or market research only insofar as this is necessary and has been approved by the user. The user is entitled to withdraw this approval in writing at any time.
Host Europe Suisse AG is permitted to conduct collection, storage or modification of personal data in order to release these in particular in connection with the work of credit agencies. Credit agencies link personal data originating in various sources and provide these to third parties. Host Europe Suisse AG shall provide the required data to such credit agencies.
Traffic data are data that are collected, processed or used for the purpose of providing telecommunications services. Host Europe Suisse AG or a third party that Host Europe Suisse AG employs for providing the telecommunication services collects traffic data to enable these services to be used and to compile the invoice of the relevant user. This generally entails the recording of date and time, the time zones and the start and end of the use, scope in bytes, the IP address and the nature of the teleservice that was used. The said data are stored for up to six months after the invoice is sent, unless some longer storage period is planned within the framework of the statistic functions activated by the user. If required for charging with other companies or with other service providers or pursuant to statutory regulations, Host Europe Suisse AG may use, store and transfer traffic data.
Domain/IP number registration
Certain personal data are released in the context of domain/IP number registration. This includes generally the name and address, which are forwarded to the corresponding national and international registration centres. Publication in the relevant Who-Is databases, which are as a rule publically accessible, is also necessary.
