What is Office 365?

Office 365 is the latest version of the popular Office Suite from Microsoft. In contrast to older versions, a subscription model is applied, which is constantly maintained and kept fully up-to-date at no further cost. Additionally, it features an array of new tools and functions which were previously unavailable.

What can I do with Office 365?

You receive a broad palette of applications which simply help you work more productively and more efficiently. Using Word, for example, you can create text documents and with Excel, you can create tables, in order to analyse data and to process information. PowerPoint and Publisher allow you to create exciting presentations and layout print publications and to. For professional communications and shared management of e-mails, contacts and tasks, Outlook, together with Exchange can meet all of your needs. Do I need prior technical knowledge?

No, you do not need any technical knowledge at all to use Office 365 productively. The Office Suite is easy-to-setup and designed so that it can be used as intuitively as possible. If any difficulties should arise, our trained and competent support team will be ready to assist you with help and advice.

How long does the setup take?

In principle, Office 365 is ready for immediate use. However, if you require a domain that you would like to use for your e-mail communications, then this should be taken care of first. Of course, our Support team will help you to register your domain as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

What is “Mobile Office”?

You use your Mobile Office by working with apps on the Apple, Android or Windows systems. As an Office 365 user, you have complete access to all apps and their functions. Simultaneously, you can also use the web applications in your browser, for which you only need an Internet connection. When you link your applications to your online storage OneDrive, both you and others in the team can process the data from anywhere and at any time.

Can I also use Office 365 without my own domain?

Yes. You only need your own domain if you wish to personalise your e-mail accounts with your own name. If you opt for an Office package without e-mail or wish to use only standard e-mail, then you will not need your own domain.

I already have a domain. Can I use it with Office 365?

If you already have a domain from Host Europe, then simply include it in your Office 365 package during the order process. Should you wish to use a domain from another provider, please ensure that it has been fully transferred to Host Europe before you order your Office 365 product.

Can I upgrade my Office 365 package as required?

Yes. If, for example, you use the ESSENTIALS package but would prefer all the advantages of the PREMIUM package, you can perform an upgrade at any time. Simply log into your control panel and select the ‘Upgrade’ option. The additional costs will then be calculated for you automatically.
